Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Milestone Collective ("we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies when you visit our website, buy or download our resources, contact us or subscribe to our emails.

In short: we collect only what we need, we do not sell your personal information, and you can ask to see it, correct it or delete it.

1. What we collect

Contact details: your name and email address. If you order a printed product, we also collect your delivery address and, if needed for delivery, a phone number.

Order information: the products you bought, billing details, transaction records, and any refund or support history. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Information you give us: messages, form entries, feedback, reviews, competition entries, newsletter sign-ups and answers to any personalisation questions.

Website and technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, the website you came from, approximate location, cookies and analytics data. What we collect depends on the website and analytics tools we use at the time.

2. How we collect it

We collect most information directly from you, for example when you place an order, fill in a form, subscribe or contact us. We may also receive limited information from the services that help us run our website, take payments, deliver products or provide digital access.

3. Why we use it

We use your information to:

  • process and deliver orders and give you access to digital products

  • answer your questions and provide support

  • handle refunds, returns and exchanges

  • send receipts and other messages about your order

  • send marketing emails, only where you have agreed

  • improve our products and website, and understand how they are used

  • keep our website secure and prevent fraud or misuse

  • meet our legal and accounting obligations and manage our business

We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.

4. Personalised products

If we offer personalised products in future, we will only ask for the information we need to make them. Personalisation helps us tailor a resource to your preferences. It is not a medical, psychological, occupational therapy, financial or other professional assessment unless we clearly say so. Please do not give us information we have not asked for.

5. Sensitive information

Some information is sensitive under Australian privacy law. This includes health information, such as a diagnosis or information about being neurodivergent or having a disability.

We do not routinely collect sensitive information when you buy a product. Please do not include health or disability details in contact forms or emails unless we have asked for them. If we ever need to collect sensitive information, we will ask for your consent first.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, understand how many people visit and which resources are useful, keep the site secure and measure how our marketing is going. The tools we use may change over time. Where required, we will explain them and give you controls.

7. Marketing emails

If you subscribe, we may email you about new resources, offers, educational content and news from Milestone Collective. You do not need to subscribe to buy a product. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

8. Who we share information with

We share personal information only where reasonably necessary to run our business and provide our products. This may include:

  • payment providers

  • website, hosting and e-commerce providers

  • digital product delivery and cloud storage providers

  • email and communication providers

  • shipping providers, if we sell printed products

  • analytics and IT service providers

  • professional advisers, such as accountants

  • government bodies, where the law requires it

We give them only what they need to do their job. We do not sell your personal information.

9. Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and countries in the European Union. We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas providers handle your information appropriately. We will update this policy if our use of overseas providers changes in a meaningful way.

10. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. Information is stored electronically using secure systems and third-party providers, and access is limited to people who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by law.

11. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it to provide our services, resolve disputes and meet legal and accounting requirements, such as the five years Australian tax law generally requires for financial records. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it.

12. Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date. Email us at hello@milestonecollective.com.au. We may need to confirm who you are first. We aim to respond within 30 days. In some cases we may be allowed or required by law to refuse access, and if so we will explain why.

13. Privacy complaints

If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can look into it:

Milestone Collective

Email: hello@milestonecollective.com.au

Please give us enough detail to understand your concern. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

14. Children and young people

Our resources are designed for young adults. If you are under 18, please get a parent's or carer's permission before you buy from us or send us your information. We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children.

15. Third-party websites

Our website may link to other websites and services. They run independently and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, so please read their policies before giving them your information.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our products, website, providers or privacy laws change. The latest version, with its date, is always on our website.
